Here are the simple steps you need to know to start using LinguistLink

• Log into LinguistLink

• Create a Project Request by going to My Projects and Selecting "+ Add New".

• Select the Service that is related to the request 

  Note
  You cannot change the service this later! If you mistakenly select the wrong service, you will have to submit a new request.

• Complete the form

• Review the confirmation and select "submit"

  Note
  The project will then go to the Scheduler who will then approve the request. If you need to view or make changes to your request, you will find it in "My Projects" and select the icon "View Pending/Drafts".

  
  

• You can view the project from the Project Information Page

• When the project is ready, change the status to "Pending". That will let the Scheduler know the project is ready to review, approve and assign.

• Once the project has been approved, the status will changed to "In Progress".
• You will receive notifications
  1. when linguists begin/complete their tasks
  2. if someone posts on the Project Discussion Board
  3. if you are sent a direct message (this may be how translations are delivered to you)
  4. when the project is complete
• View and Search the projects in "My Projects"
