View/Search Assignments

“My Assignment” is a feature that allows Schedulers to view specific Project Assignments (Project Task Items) directly from the dashboard or the menu.

Instructions

My Assignments Widget from Dashboard

 

  1. View a summary of current assignments

  2. View fields:

    1. Project (link directly to the project)

    2. Target Language (link directly to the Project Item)

    3. Linguist field is color coded based on the status:

      1. Yellow = Not Proposed

      2. Blue = Proposed/not yet accepted

      3. Green = Assigned/Accepted

      4. Red = Rejected

    4. Due Date/Appointment Time (shows the date due)

Dates are shown as relative dates. If you need to see the actual date/time, select the clock icon.

Select the eye to go directly to the project item.

My Assignments from the Menu

Going to the “My Assignments” Menu (from the left column) will take you to the full My Assignments view.

  1. You will be able to see the following fields:

    1. Project Number

    2. Project Name

    3. Account

    4. Linguist (see color code above)

    5. Due Date/appointment date

    6. Target Language

    7. Est Quantity (this is the quantityTracking time in LinguistLink )– usually hours or word count)

    8. Est Fixed Total (this field is also set from Project Item details).

    9. Actual Hours (this field is updated by the linguist (see Tracking time in LinguistLink )

    10. Service Default Rate (This is the rate charged to the client. It’s updated on the linguist profile. Currently this is requested from emailing support@linguistlink.net)

    11. Service Pay Rate (This is the rate paid to the supplier. It’s updated on the linguist profile. Currently this is requested from emailing support@linguistlink.net)

    12. Project Status

    13. Billing Code

    14. Status (payment Status. This is updated by Tracking time in LinguistLink )

    15. Created (date automatically completed)

    16. Updated (date automatically completed)
