Secure File Transfer Protocol (SFTP)

You can attach files easily and safely to the LinguistLink platform. However, you may have files that need extra security or are larger in size. This is where the our file sharing server can come in handy.

You can transfer large files safely and security using the linguistlink SFTP server.

In order to use this feature, you will need a separate account to access. You can request this from support@linguistlink.net.

Once you have your account, you will need an SFTP client to access the files.

1. download the client i.e. Filezilla or WinSCP

2. set up the sftp server:

   1. servername sftp.linguistlink.net port: 22

   2. username: [provided username]

   3. password: [provided password]

   4. Connect

3. Once connected, you will see two folders “toLinguistLink” and “fromLinguistLink”

   1. upload your files to /toLinguistlink

   2. download files from /fromLinguistLink
