Accept a Project

The following instructions describe how to accept a project in LinguistLink.

Instructions

When a project is proposed to you, you will receive notification in your email. You will also see a new project is available in the dashboard. When you’re ready to accept a project:

Open the Project from “Available Project Items for You”.

Scroll down to find the button “Accept/Reject Task”

If you do not see this button, it means the project has been accepted by someone else and is no longer available for you.

 Accept the project

Once “Accept job” is select, notifications will go to the scheduler to inform them you have accepted the job.

For translation projects, files are often made available to help you with the scope of the document. You should not work on the file unless you have formally “accepted” the project.
